We've taken a few liberties with this mock-up (based on a Ford Bronco concept) as we obviously have no idea what it will eventually look like (yet!)

"KISS, Keep it simple stupid. Lets hope this new defender isn't as electronic and complicated as the Disco 5's"

"I hope this is a red herring from Land Rover and the new Defender is released in a blaze of glory with 3 wheelbase variations on the NEW chassis they are developing. I would be disappointed if the "all new" Defender sat on an unloved, overweight hand-me-down from the obsolete Discovey. If they want to keep building the T5 chassis they should sell it as a boat anchor for container ships. The Defender deserves better. If the new chassis is strong enough for the luxury models, it would be strong enough for a lightweight aluminium bodied Defender. Do it properly Land Rover and make several wheelbase variants of your new chassis. PS, I like the photoshopped bronco concept - it works for me!"
