Visit Poland for the 60th Anniversary of Land Rover at the Baltic Land Rover Meeting 2008. The main event will take place on 27th-29th June 2008 at The Eco Campsite, Smoldzino, Poland.

Just for the LRO Adventure Club Day 1. 24 June. Starting at 10.00am 100 miles of greenlaning, lunch after 50 miles and evening camping at a scouts’ base with basic facilities in the forest. Suitable for all vehicles. Day 2. Start at 09.00am, 20 miles greenlaning to a Steam Railway Museum, then tarmac roads through rural, picturesque roads via Kashubia to drive back to the campsite, lunch on the way back. Canoe rally untill evening, back to campsite. Day 3, bicycle trip to World War II rocket site including a walk on the dunes. Included is a pitch at the campsite, a beer and sausage at the campfires (Friday and Saturday evening) and souvenir T-shirts. Approximate cost is £255 per vehicle based on two people sharing, not including the ferry.

The Landy Rally is a unique charity event covering 2,300 miles/3,700 kilometers and visiting eight countries in seven days. France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Andorra and Spain. This is a non-speed, part competition, part off-road driving event with 100 teams taking part. It is open to all the family and there is a choice of either campsites or hotels for the overnight stops with a get together at the rally HQ every night. Route books are distributed to each car, Each waypoint is shown in Longitude and Latitude form. Each waypoint has a particular points value, the higher the points value the more difficult it could be to find, or get there. The twist, there isn’t enough time to collect all of the waypoints in the book. Scoring is simple, the team with the most points at the end of the event wins!
