5-8 LRO Adventure Club Wild Wales Four-Day Adventure
Day one starts in Llangollen and heads towards Bala where the afternoon is spent enjoying the driving at Bala off-road centre. The second day we head along scenic routes to Machynlleth and Aberdyfi where we stay for the night. Day three starts with off-roading and continues to the Rhayader area; and on the last day we travel south, using the well-known tracks Strata Florida and Sarn Helen and ending near Neath at about 4pm.Camping or B&B. £195 per vehicle.

18–26 The Landy Rally
is a unique charity event, covering 2800 miles and visiting 11 countries in nine days: Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Italy (via Stevio Pass), Andorra and Spain. This is a non-speed, part competition, part off-road driving event with 100 teams taking part. It is open to all the family and there is a choice of either campsites or hotels for the overnight stops with a get-together at the rally HQ every night. Any make or model of Land Rover vehicle is eligible but must be road-legal. Registration is advised as soon as possible to ensure a place. Entry fee £760 per vehicle per driver/co driver. 11-12 LRO Adventure Club, The 10th Santa’s Challenge
The Castle Inn, Caldecote on the A6003 between Corby and Uppingham, will be the base and focal point for this exciting on and off road Challenge. Both the 9.30am Saturday start and the Sunday afternoon finish, presentation and buffet will be held there. The route will take in four sites in the Corby, Stamford and Peterborough areas. A morning briefing, when the road books will be issued, will describe the event scoring system, route and safety rules, and introduce the key marshals. The scoring system takes different forms; some sites will have stamps or seals to find along a given route which should be collected on your scorecard. This will be attached to your vehicle dashboard by a 3ft chain! Other sites will have special tasks where you will be awarded points for planning, safety and initiative. Introducing our new safari route across the Atlas mountains – Starting at Meknes down to Todra Gorge, across to Zagora, down to Mahmid and across the Dakar route to Foum Zaguid, down towards Tan Tan and run alongside the coast and beach up towards Agadir before crossing the Tazi ne Tiznet pass and into Marrakech before heading north back to the ferry. Amazing mountain roads, driving on the Atlantic shoreline, camping by the sea and much more to tempt both newcomers and previous adventurers alike.
