The Azalai Camper conversion, as seen in the pages of LRO, has now reached the milestone of 60 vehicles.

It is quite fitting, therefore, that the 60th vehicle is being built by OEC International in Devon, UK. Until now the only other UK registered Azalai belonged to LRO web editor, Simon Ward-Hastelow. But with a rapidly filling order book there are likely to be more and more Azalai vehicles on the roads very soon.

Showing not a hint of complacency in adding this unique overland vehicle to their repertoire Anton de Leeuw, MD of OEC International, also confirmed that the conversion would soon be available for the IVECO Massif (the vehicle that started life as the Santana Land Rover) and the IVECO Daily, a Unimog sized beast of a truck.

The Azalai is available as a standard conversion for both the Defender 110 and 130 High-Cap pick-ups with a range of options to suit all kinds of uses from a versatile weekend camper to a fully self-sufficient expedition vehicle that can take up to 5 people in relative comfort right around the world.
