I woke up this morning to frost on the grass and a very cold 2005 Td5 Defender 90!
As is normal for the season, the first six miles of my 10-mile trip to work was done in a freezing cab with side and rear windows dangerously misted up (my windscreen is heated, thus a clear view).
I’ve had enough now and despite the expense I’ve decided to install a preheater! Is there any chance you could advise on a pre-heater or perhaps do a ‘how to’ article on installing one? I’ve been considering the Eberspacher Hydronic system.

The Ebesbacher has been fitted to many Land Rovers and has good reports. Editor-in-chief John Pearson has one fitted to his ex-G4 Challenge Defender 110. We had a fitting guide for it in the September 2007 issue.
