This LRO reader emailed LRO.firstname.lastname@example.org to ask for help with ACE issues on his Land Rover Discovery 2 Td5
I was driving my 110 down a very steep, rocky and sandy incline. I was in low box second (sometimes even first) but still had to apply the brakes to keep control. On reaching tarmac I changed into high box, but I found the brakes needed a lot of pumping before being effective. I thought I’d hit some rocks on the way down or damaged the suspension, but there were no brake fluid leaks and after three miles they were back to normal. What’s up?

It sounds like you boiled the brake fluid and it took a little time to cool down again. I recommend that you change the brake fluid as soon as possible.
