The Coffee and Chrome classic vehicle meet, hosted by classic car insurance specialist Footman James, is back on the calendar. Scheduled for Sunday 22 August (9am-12pm) at Prescott Hill Climb in Cheltenham, this is the first time the event has been able to go ahead since the outbreak of the pandemic.
All classic vehicles are welcome so, despite the event name, don’t worry about the lack of chrome trim on your Series III or Range Rover Classic – it’s all good. Dogs are welcome too.

Footman James has arranged for ticket holders to also get free entry to the new on-site exhibition by the Bugatti Trust, celebrating the centenary of the famous ‘Gran Premio d’Italia Vetturette’ race at Brescia, Northern Italy, in 1921. The Bugatti Trust is a charity whose objective is to preserve and make available for study the works of Ettore Bugatti.
Tickets are free but only there’s only space for 500 vehicles, so you’ll need to book ahead.
Managing Director, David Bond, said: “We’re thrilled that our Coffee and Chrome meet is back this year, it feels like we’re now going back to some sort of normality, especially since the Covid restrictions were lifted significantly in July!
“We launched this meet a few years ago to see our clients, their vehicles and to create more of a Footman James community. When you own a classic vehicle, you’re part of a new family who’s enthusiastic about the same things you are, so it’s always great to meet new people and, of course, look at the amazing chrome on show!”
