Franco Picchiottini was at the show exhibiting the final stages of his latest rebuild, a Series One lights-behind-grille Tickford. Picchiottini is renowned for his spectacular refurbishments of Series Land Rovers and Range Rover Classics as featured in previous issues of LRO.

All three drove specially prepared three-door Range Rover Classic thousands of miles through the desert to win that cherished trophy! It was a real treat for all the enthusiasts to meet them on the stand and listen to their experiences from behind the wheel in arguably the most gruelling 4x4 adventure ever.
