Quiana, who goes to college in England, is aiming to acquire an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) alongside her A-level studies, which involves researching and writing a 5000 word essay on a topic of her choice.
With a passion for Land Rovers she naturally chose to incorporate them in her EPQ. She will by looking at JLR’s marketing and business strategy, the halting of the production of the Defender and whether the company are living up to their own slogans.
In order for it to be a well-rounded essay she would like to include opinions from other enthusiasts. So has asked me to give a shout out to our readers on her behalf.
To this end could you please take a few minutes to answer some or all of the questions below and send them to firstname.lastname@example.org, plus anything else that you feel may be relevant, before the end of September.
1). Do you think Land Rover have always met their slogans? For example, their present slogan is "ABOVE & BEYOND."?
2). Considering the Defender is no longer in production, do you think it’s time to change the slogan?
3). What slogans can you remember, and what do you think would be more appropriate now?
4). Do you think Land Rovers marketing strategy has changed recently from its traditional 4x4 innovation, to chasing the market, like other high end manufacturers?
Quiana, is a great example of the next generation of Land Rover enthusiast, I know your help will be highly appreciated.
