The Range Rover, celebrating its 40th anniversary, will be the featured car when the British Car Club of Greater Cincinnati hosts its yearly show on July 18 at Fairfield's Harbin Park.
The show which features European cars, runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the park, 1300 Hunter Road. Admission is $5 for spectators with no cost for children under the age of 12. There will be a special area for Diamond in the Rough cars. The cars will be brought back to the show next year or the year after owners finish restoration projects. Cars will be judged in 33 different categories with prizes for the first place winner in each category plus Mayor's Choice, Peopleâ€™s Choice, and Distance. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and runs until noon. Cost is $15 at the show. The show will feature djs spinning tunes, food, vendors and a swap meet. Valve cover races begin at noon. Voting ends at 2 p.m. There will be face painting for children. The Nuclear Penguins will play live from noon to 3 p.m. The day ends with the 4 p.m. awards presentation. All food proceeds will benefit Fairfield's One Way Farm Children's Home.
