The Scottish Borders Hill Rally is set to take place on November 20-21 and will feature 100 stage miles on private roads meaning that competing vehicles do not have to be road legal. There's a £295 entry fee and a field of 50 entries.
The Borders Hill rally is designed to introduce the Competitive Safari driver to the ideas of Hill Rallying. Taking place completely on private ground, the event is set out so that vehicles do not need to be Road Legal, or comply with the Construction and Use regs for vehicles. 2010 will see the event return to Forrest Estate, and the route will generally one of graded tracks and hard bases, with quarries and chicanes to add interest.
