The 2011 show season has got off to a flying start. Following in the wake of the Convoy for Heroes and Gaydon Heritage Motor Centre Heritage weekends, the LRO Spring Adventure at Driffield was also a great success. Fresh mud on lots of Land Rovers was proof that the off-road course - just minutes from the showground - was busy all weekend. Wide smiles on the faces of visitors was proof that the many national and regional clubs' stands as well as the great arena action proved popular.
LRO Editor John Pearson said immediately after the event, 'The LRO Spring Adventure turned out to be a great success, with more trade and club stands than ever before and some superb Land Rovers on display. Even the forecasted bad weather turned out better than expected, with only a shower on the Sunday morning.'
