November saw an exciting exhibition featuring the work of Land Rover's six Global Humanitarian and Conservation Partners; International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Born Free Foundation, Biosphere Expeditions, China Exploration and Research Society (CERS), Earthwatch Institute and Royal Geographical Society (with IBG).The display at the prestigious Royal Geographical Society in South Kensington, London, showcased the invaluable work of the Global Partners and their numerous projects utilizing Land Rovers, stretching to the four corners of the world.
In the RGS Ondaatje Theatre, Land Rover ambassador and guest lecturer Ben Saunders spoke on the Insights of a Polar Explorer. Ben Saunders said, 'I'm delighted to be sharing my experiences and expertise of some of the world's most inhospitable terrain at such a respected institution as the Royal Geographical Society. To do so during the Land Rover in Action exhibition week surrounded by Land Rover's Humanitarian and Conservation partners makes this even more special.'
