DIY tools and equipment supplier Sealey has spent the last six issues of LRO transforming a 1999 Defender 110 Td5 from a rugged workhorse into an adventure-ready vehicle worth £14,000.
Sealey has paid attention to longevity, usability and durability, so any aging components have been upgraded or replaced, and any rust has been treated. With a hefty new Sealey 4300kg winch on the front, Cooper Discoverer ST MAXX tyres, and new paintwork and lights, this all-terrain king is bound to turn heads wherever it goes.
Come and enter the competition at the show! The finished vehicle will be showcased on the LRO stand and demonstrated in the arena. The Sealey team will be on hand to talk about the project and the tools they used, and you can pick up a copy of the latest Sealey catalogue too!
Twelve months tax, MOT and breakdown cover will be included in the prize. The lucky winner will just have to arrange his or her own insurance before collecting the keys and driving it home from Sealey’s Suffolk HQ in October.
