F981 ENV, a three-door Discovery 200Tdi which rolled out of Solihull in 1989, will be exhibited on the Land Rover Experience stand. They’ll also be bringing their Mini Terrapod demonstration unit, and a flock of miniature Land Rovers for kids under 10 to have a go in.
Grown-up Land Rovers will also be available for bigger kids to play in, and take advantage of the scenic tracks through the Eastnor Estate used by Land Rover for testing. These sessions must be booked in advance by calling Land Rover Experience Eastnor on 01531 638779.
Dates for this year’s Eastnor Show, held in the deer park at Eastnor Castle (the ancestral home of Land Rover’s off-road testing ground), are May 24-25, and camping is available from the night of the 23rd. Advanced tickets start from £10 per adult and weekend family camping passes are available from £50. Children under 15 years go free.
