Midland Rover Owners Club are looking forward to the 2015 ALRC National Rally at Eastnor Castle at the end of May, and are being extremely proactive and are already recruiting marshals.
Chief Marshal, Samantha Miller, says, ‘Marshals are an essential part of all trials. They are there to help the trials run smoothly as well as picking up on any penalty points incurred by the drivers.
‘You will be supplied with your own tabard and whistle. Not forgetting the free lunch!
‘If you are competing over the weekend then please try to marshal one of the other events to support the drivers that may well have marshalled for you.’
They are looking for: -
GROUP LEADING MARSHALS
You will be responsible for leading a group around the estate from section to section and be point of contact within your group.
SCORE CARD MARSHALS
You are in charge of the master score sheet, marking down the score that is given to each driver in your group on all sections.
(The driver is responsible for getting their own card marked by you.)
STATIC MARSHALS (RTV & CCVT)
Each section will have at least one static marshal. You will be assigned to stay on one section throughout the day, becoming familiar with that section to pass on information to each group that passes through.
All marshals are an essential part of every trial. Moving around with the group, you are there to help the trials run safely and smoothly as well as picking up on any penalty points incurred by the drivers.
What you get:-
- You will be issued with your very own tabard and whistle.
- An event mug which are for marshals only and will not be available as part of the rally pack or for sale.
