If you’re interested in getting your Land Rover travels published, don’t miss the seminars in travel photography and travel writing, including one dedicated to writing for magazines.
You’ll also find a theatre dedicated to travelling in Africa, where safari and overland operators, self-drive companies, conservation organisations, and lots more, will be wearing floppy hats and trying to suppress their jetlag.
Key speakers include veteran explorer and Land Rover ambassador, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, whose talk ‘Living Dangerously’ is on Saturday at 10am. Sailor and TV presenter Hannah White (another Land Rover brand ambassador) will be speaking on Saturday at 15:45 on the subject: ‘The question isn’t ‘can you?’ - It’s ‘will you?’
Can you go to the Adventure Travel Show? Or will you?
The event takes place at London’s Olympia exhibition centre in West Kensington, on Saturday 17-Sunday 18.
Tickets on the day cost £10 (£8 in advance) or £15 for the weekend (£12 in advance). The seminars in travel writing and photography cost a little more. For more info, and to buy tickets, click here to visit the Adventure Travel Show website.
For other event ideas, check out LRO’s events calendar. It’s printed each month near the back of the magazine, or you can find our longer-term calendar here.
Whatever you’re up to this weekend, if it’s in a Land Rover and you have an eye for a good photo, we want to see your photos! Send them to email@example.com.
