As the next Bond film nears its official launch, Land Rover has unveiled a special edition Defender featuring a unique package of extras.

Created by Land Rover’s SV Bespoke division (responsible for limited-run projects and one-offs), the 518bhp V8 Bond Edition is based upon the Defender V8 and can be ordered in either 90 or 110 body styles.

Laser-etched badging inside confirms that each car is ‘One of 300’. Just 15 of these will remain in the UK: ten 110s and five 90s.

The iconic 007 logo appears in the illuminated treadplate, the ‘Defender 007’ rear badge, puddle lamp graphics, and a unique start-up animation for the PiviPro touchscreen. The exterior also features an extended Black Pack, with 22in Gloss Black wheels and Xenon Blue front brake calipers.

Released in the UK on September 30 (October 8 in the US), ‘No Time To Die’ will feature a Range Rover Classic, Series III, two Range Rover Sport SVRs and an ensemble of black Defender 110s. As you will have seen from the trailers released last year, the 110s in particular receive a darned good thrashing…

Land Rover’s Brand Director, Finbar McFall, describes the new edition as ‘a meeting of two great British brands and a unique celebration of Land Rover’s 38-year association with James Bond.’

The Defender V8 Bond Edition is available to order, costing £105,395 for the short-wheelbase 90 and £108,040 for the long-wheelbase 110. Find out more…
