Land Rover Owner International magazine is looking for another writer to join our team.
Here’s the dream job for someone with a genuine passion for Land Rovers. The world’s biggest-selling Land Rover magazine is looking to recruit another staff writer.
The work entails producing great copy about Land Rovers of all shapes and sizes – from early Series Is to the latest 2010 models – so a good knowledge of the subject is essential. Awareness of the Land Rover marketplace is also an asset, as is a can-do attitude and the ability to make things happen under pressure of tight deadlines.
The successful applicant can expect to be sent around the UK and throughout the world to write about vehicles, cover events and take part in exciting adventures in remote locations.
Applications are welcomed from experienced journalists or inexperienced enthusiasts who can demonstrate to us that you have the potential to become full-time writers. All of the current LRO editorial team were readers who took the step-up to become writers for their favourite magazine.
The job is full-time and based in our Peterborough office. If you’re interested, send us:
§ Your CV and a covering letter, explaining why you’re right for this job.
§ 500 words in the style of LRO’s Our Land Rovers, telling us about your Land Rover.
Send your application to email@example.com, or by post to Ruth Bates, Land Rover Owner International, Bauer Media, Lynchwood, Peterborough PE2 6EA.
For further information about the job email Editor-in-Chief John Pearson on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01733 468385.
Closing date mid-day April 7 2010.
