The Outback Land Rover Heritage Drive 2010 is a unique event organised by the Land Rover Club of the Australian Capital Territory in aid of outback charities. On Monday May 31, a group of Land Rover owners and friends will set out from Bourke on a leisurely nine-day tour of the Australian Outback.
The Outback Land Rover Heritage Drive is being put together by a team from the Land Rover Club of the ACT. It has chosen the Corner Country for the drive and Bourke as the common starting point. With the Corner Country an iconic region for 4WD travel, the intention is to support Corner Country communities in two ways by using their services and thus assisting their economies and by donating the net proceeds of the event to local charities.
