A pair of Range Rover Sports previously owned by Liverpool and England footballer Stevie Gerrard are for sale on the Auto Trader website. Gerrard was the first owner of the 2009 Range Rover Sport, which was modified by Overfinch and has a interior leather roof lining and seats with red stitching representing Liverpool’s club colours. To make it stand out from all the other Range Rover Sports at the training ground, the number 8 – Gerrard’s Liverpool shirt number – has been stitched into the headrests. The Sport is powered by a 3.6-litre V8 diesel engine, which has had the full Overfinch conversion to develop 328bhp and 582lb/ft of pulling power. When Gerrard bought this Range Rover Sport in 2009, it would have set him back a whopping £79,995. It is now advertised for sale by a private seller at £59,500. It has done just 10,000 miles from new.
The second Range Rover Sport has just come up for sale; it's a more subtle 2006 HST model powered by a supercharged 385bhp 4.2-litre V8 engine and is also fitted with a full Overfinch body kit. The HST model incorporates a number of upgrades over the standard supercharged Sport, including an electric sunroof, privacy glass and a special bodykit with fog lamps mounted in the spoiler. It comes fitted with 22-inch Overfinch alloys, black leather interior, sat-nav, a Harman Kardon sound system with a CD autochanger, all-round electrics, voice activation, a coolbox and piano wood trim. It is for sale at £30,000.
