Here's a clip of Mark Saville ploughing with the Puma as featured in the June 2101 issue - currently on sale. It's a press fleet vehicle, bog standard except for 7.50 Michelin XZL mud-pattern tyres and a custom bracket extension on the Dixon Bate tow hitch.
'Feet off all pedals and just trundle along in low-first, diff locked. The engine note didn’t change as the plough bit into the soil,' said Mark.
The plough is a Lister-Cockshutt two-furrow from 1942 and the venue Stuart Hibberd’s farm in Hampshire. After ploughing, Mark drove the 90 to Park Lane in London for an awards ceremony proving it to be a true Chelsea Tractor!
