A team that planned to renovate a 101 ambulance to take on this year's Help for Heroes 4x4 European rally had to change plans. After a huge amount of effort on the ambulance they ran into a massive problems with it. As a result they gave up on it and bought a more reliable Land Rover Discovery to take them on the rally.
Disaster struck again when the handbrake failed outside the co-driver's house in Glasgow and the truck has ended up at the bottom of a canal where Scottish Waterways are refusing to let the guys move it before an environmental survey is completed. This happening has put a massive dilemma the team's way as to whether they will be able to compete in the rally at all as their funding has completely gone after spending the last week getting the vehicle the point were it was completely ready to go.
This is a big ask, with only 27 days left till the rally but what the duo are wanting to know is whether there is anyone who may like to
help us get back on the road for the rally with the loan of a vehicle?
