Jaguar Land Rover has lined-up some interesting machines to display at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The company has been taking the Indian market seriously to the extent that it has decided not to attend the Detroit Motor show and instead line-up a feast of cars for its clientele from the Indian subcontinent. This will include concept cars each from Jaguar and Land Rover. The Jaguar CX16 concept will represent the premium car brand while Land Rover will have the DC100 concept on display.
The DC100 concept is the basis for the replacement for the ageing Land Rover Defender and was the main attraction at Frankfurt in 2011 along with the Jaguar CX16 concept. Replacing the legendary Defender is a difficult task and the DC100 has a tough job to do.
The concept that Land Rover designers have come up with looks the part and is said to combine functionality and durability which were important traits of the original Defender. The DC100 concept will be at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo for Land Rover fans to check out.
