In doing so, the Queen Elizabeth Prize of Engineering Foundation hope to dispel often outdated perceptions of engineering and excite and inspire a generation of young people. click here for Queen Elizabeth Prize
Ralf Speth, CEO, Jaguar Land Rover said, 'Engineering is vital to the future of our society and the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering is the ideal platform to applaud innovation and excellence in this field. This is an area in which Britain has a rich heritage and it is imperative that we continue to nurture engineering skills. JLR supports and encourages the continued development of engineering through its own advanced research and product design and development activities in the UK, working increasingly in greater co-operation with academia and suppliers and will continue to pioneer advances and innovation.'
