Mac Mackenney of Max Adventure is looking for a suitable office, ideally on a farm or estate owned by an enthusiastic Land Rover owner, someone who would like to be associated and possibly involved with the exciting projects that Max Adventure get up to. 'Ideally,' he says, 'I'm looking for somewhere within a 20 mile radius of Reading and would love to hear from any LRO reader who might be able to help.'
LRO readers might recall that, a couple of years ago, the Max Aventure team of Mac Mackenney, Chris Rawlings and Steve Mackenney travelled from London to Cape Town covering 10,000 miles through 20 countries and breaking the current record of 13 days, 8 hrs 48 mins set in 1963 by Eric Jackson and Ken Chambers.
Mac says, 'My current project to drive some of the world's most extreme roads in 4x4s for the Discovery Channel is due to end at the beginning of October and then I've got a plan to run some exciting and challenging overland trips. It's got to the stage where I need a bigger office and storage space and this is where I was wondering if an LRO reader might be able to help me?'
