British tuning firm Overfinch has been customising Range Rovers for over 35 years and it has now turned its attention to the Defender 90. Its latest project is based on the iconic Land Rover Defender, and the specialist firm's attentions have largely focussed on an upgrade for the interior. The interior, upholstered in red leather, features contrasting stitching and the steering wheel, dashboard, seats and centre console have all been so wrapped. Other trim upgrades including the metal gear shift knob and diff-lock/transfer box lever that have been added.
The exterior features a body kit with LED daytime running lights on the front-end. The alloy wheels are 18in Apollos designed and manufactured in the UK for Overfinch. As with all Overfinch alloy wheels, quality and performance are second-to-none. TUV certified with direct fitment (no hub adapters or spacers), the Apollo wheel is 8.5'' wide with a 20mm offset, available in the following finishes; Diamond Turned Anthracite/Titanium/Gloss Black/Matt Black (special order). The wheels as illustrated include BF Goodrich All Terrain tyres (T/A KO 265/65 R18 R, with optional, white Goodrich branding on the tyre wall). These were chosen to balance off and on-road capabilities, visual appearance and to minimise road noise. Road-only and mud tyres are also available.
