On Friday October 12, around 50 Southern California Land Rover owners will line up their vehicles in front of Patty's Place Restaurant to pay tribute to Dave Caouette shot in the Seal Beach, California massacre a year ago while sitting his Land Rover Discovery. Caouette, a Seal Beach husband and father of three grown children, was the ninth and final person shot in California's Orange County in which eight people died. Friends said he had just pulled into the parking lot to visit Patty's, a favorite restaurant and next to the salon where the shootings occurred.
At 07.30, on Saturday October 13 the group will leave to convoy 50 miles along Highway 38 to Big Bear for an off-road trail run to remember Dave and his enthusiasm for all things Land Rover. More information at www.sclr.org/
