Twisted, the Yorkshire-based tuning and Land Rover conversion specialist, has added two new engine options for its 2013 Defender range - a 250bhp, 370lb ft five-cylinder Ford-sourced turbodiesel and a massive 6.2-litre all-aluminium V8 petrol lump from General Motors that chucks out 450bhp and 425lb ft
'The plan is to have the first diesel demonstrators available in February and the V8 petrols in April. One customer V8 is already in the planning stage,' Twisted boss Charles Fawcett told LRO. Prices are yet to be announced.
The two new engine options are in addition to the standard ex-factory 2.2TDCi and the uprated version that produces 170bhp: both of these remain on the options list.
