There’s less than a month before the entry deadline on 13 September, so head over to greatcompetitions.co.uk/defender today for your chance to win! Its FREE to enter, so why wouldn’t you?
The 110 has been treated to plenty of upgrades with the aim of enhancing performance and longevity; so there’s a new Sealey 4300kg winch, underbody protection, and a grippy new set of Cooper Discoverer ST MAXX tyres for when the going gets rough. The engine has also had a thorough going over, the brakes have been overhauled, and new heavy duty springs promise to keep the handling in check when it’s loaded up with gear. And with new paintwork, lights and chequerplate protection, it looks the part too!
We reckon this Defender is ready for anything. Will it end up as a multi-purpose workhorse, a weekend toy or a globetrotting overlander on your driveway? Only time will tell...
Look out for the full story of the restoration in the upcoming October issue of LRO (on sale Wednesday 4 September). You can also see the Defender for yourself at the LRO Peterborough Show on 7 – 8 September, where it’ll be exhibited on the LRO stand and demonstrated in the arena. The Sealey team will be on hand to talk about the project and the tools used, and you can pick up a copy of the latest Sealey catalogue too! For more information about the show, go to lroshow.com
