This one’s a neat example of a Series I with some interesting history behind it, having been a founding vehicle of the Series One Club. It’s had a couple of rebuilds in its 63 year lifetime, and comes with some interesting mod-cons, such as a Fairey overdrive, reversing lights, a Hardura-lined roof to prevent condensation and ‘bespoke oak draft excluders’ – all of which have been designed to make it more viable for every day use.
Under the skin there’s replacement aluminium bulkhead, a new exhaust system, freewheeling hubs, and a 2.0 litre petrol engine (the original would have been a 1.6).
Looks like a fun little Land Rover! Find it here.
