0-60 time drops dramatically from 17.5secs to 11.8secs, thanks to a big 90 ft lb boost in torque that’ll be appreciated by off-roaders, overlanders and tarmac burners alike. (Maximum speed increases only from 90 to 96 mph, as it’s limited by the transfer case ratios.)
Stage 1 is an engine remap that adds 38 bhp and 69 ft lb, giving a 0-60 time of 12.7secs and setting you back £495. Stage 2, costing £965, adds some meaty hardware including a larger aluminium intercooler and a generous ITG Performance air filter
As well as tweaking the engine, the JE turned its attention to handling and appearance, with a new bespoke suspension set-up and unique alloys wheels, along with a selection of interior and exterior upgrades. The full package includes customised Alcantara seats, contrasting roof and trim, 18in wheels and 285/65 R18 BF Goodrich All Terrain tyres, a firmer, lowered suspension, noise deadening, LED running lights, and skid plate. It’ll cost you £14.990 + VAT, and it’s available now.
