1998 Defender 90 50th Limited Edition - £24,995
Created in celebration of Land Rover’s fist half-century. The 3.9-litre V8 coupled with auto ‘box make these a tasty proposition. This one’s been given an extensive recent renovation, including a full respray, freshly Waxoyled chassis, new stainless fixings, and plenty of other new parts. Looks darned tidy.
2001 Defender 90 Tomb Raider Edition - £11,000 ono
One of 250 made, with 110,000 miles on the clock, and fitted with a few after-market modifications such as underbody protection, stainless steel straight-through exhaust and a Stage 2 engine revamp. Been used for greenlaning so ‘has the usual Defender wear and tear plus some minor panel dents’.
1996 Defender 90 Eastnor Edition - £16,450
One of 100 made, designed as a European version of the NAS spec 90s built for sale only in the USA. The light-weight hard-top is designed to be easily removable and comes off to reveal a single-hoop roll bar. Other goodies include CD player, swing away wheel carrier and NAS rear step. This one’s Waxoyled, and has a new cambelt,
1999 Defender 90 Td5 ‘Heritage’ Edition - £15,995 ovno
Very sought-after model that would later be echoed in the equally desirable 2015 Heritage edition. This one has been with one owner for the last eight years, comes with all previous MoTs and has just been treated to a comprehensive respray. Td5 with 113,000 miles on the clock.
2013 Defender 90 LXV - £32,400 incl VAT
One of the 65 Defenders built to commemorate Land Rover’s 65th anniversary. Santorini Black with Sawtooth alloy wheels and Corris Grey rood. The interior features black leather seats, a leather steering wheel, and ‘bulkhead delete’ (where a curved bar replaces the rear bulkhead, creating a car-like open space between the back of the vehicle and the front).
