The former pay and play site has been in operation since the 1970s, and is now available only for 4x4 experience and off-road training sessions with ukLANDROVERevents.
Boasting superb coastal views overlooking Robin Hood’s Bay, the site is set on a private hillside and is split into two separate sections: a quarry-like upper section with rocks and man-made obstacles, and a muddy lower section with ruts and water holes. See below for some lovely aerial footage!
Recreational off-road tuition (£175 for a half day) is a fun introductory off-roading session, using the site’s own Defender. Tuition & Tour packages (£275 per day) adds an afternoon tour of the North Yorkshire Moors. You can bring up to three guests to each of these sessions with no extra cost. Junior driving experiences (£175 for half a day) allow kids of any age to experience the centre’s Defender off-road, so long as they can reach the pedals.
Professional off-road training (from £495) is aimed at those who are required to use a 4x4 in a work environment an includes tuition of health and safety requirements. Skills Training Days (£95 per vehicle) offer groups of customers driving their own vehicles (max five cars) tuition as they cross a series of obstacles around the off-road course.
