If our LRO Peterborough show has left you yearning for more Land Rover action, you won't want to miss this two-day spectacle that bursts into life on Friday 25th September.
Vehicles from the past sixty years will be put through their paces with two rally stages in darkness on the Friday evening for the Trackrod Historic Cup, featuring drivers and cars from both the Mintex British Historic Championship and the West Wales Rally Spares RAC Championship.
The Armed Forces Rally Team are bringing their rally-prepped Wolf Tdis, to undertake battle with TDCi Bowler 90 Defender Challenge competitors in the Armstrong Massey Driffield Land Rover Challenge, running the same route as the Historic Cup. The Land Rovers will start their weekend's competing with two night stages on Friday night, followed by five stages on Saturday.
The Saturday stages will run concurrently with the Trackrod Forest Stages Rally, forming the penultimate round of Britain’s biggest rally championship - the REIS-RAVENOL BTRDA series, as well as a round of the MSA English Rally Championship and local competitions.
The hub of the event is the Pickering exhibition and leisure village, one mile south of the town on the A169, the location for start, finish and scrutineering.
