The enthusiastic team of spanner men will be transforming a 109in Land Rover chassis from a bare frame to a rolling chassis during the weekend, complete with axles, engine, gearbox and a Polybush kit.
During the restoration the team will be available to answer any questions you may have, so if you’re thinking of starting a project, have mechanical queries about your Land Rover, need suspension or bush removal advice, or just want to see the Manic Mechanics at work, head over to the Polybush restoration workshop.
Polybush, whose polyurethane suspension bushes are designed to improve handling precision, ride quality and prolong tyre life for a wide range of Land Rovers, will also be demonstrating a new Discovery 3 bush removal tool from Sykes-Pickavant, which helps extract OE bushes in double-quick time.
The Polybush workshop will be alongside the LRO stand, where you can talk to the LRO team on all-things Land Rover, while getting a close-up look at the vehicles we drive.
Talking of which, we’ll be revealing our new project vehicle at the show – find out what it is, and let us know what you’d like to see us do to it.
