Built from scratch, and designed to be much more mobile friendly than the old version, the new site includes details of the company’s services, parts and accessories, and their large stock of vehicles for sale.
‘The old website was built a long time ago when no-one used mobiles,’ says Andrew Harrison-Smith, MD of Nene Overland. ‘Since then we’ve also grown with our new showroom in Maidenhead and we offer a lot more than just Land Rovers for sale.’
‘We needed a website that could easily manage all of the information our customers want in a way that they can easily access on their phones or iPads.’
The Nene Overland website offers over 200 vehicles for sale – you’ll probably see a lot more Jeeps than you might expect since the company added the marque to its portfolio – and details the various operations like Waxoyl rustproofing, servicing, tuning, bespoke builds, amongst others.
The online shop is similarly mobile-friendly and Nene plans to massively increase the parts, equipment and accessories offered there. You’ll see all the big name brands, as well as a growing number of products under the Defender Icon brand.
You can also expect to see thousands of used Land Rover parts there in the future.
Peter Kiggins, Parts Manager, said: ‘We carry a massive range of parts and accessories just to keep our own workshops going so it makes sense to add them to the online shop. We also have a huge inventory of take-off and used parts that we’ve amassed over the years, many of which are impossible to get hold of elsewhere. We’re going through it all and will be continually adding everything to the shop.
The new website looks very clear and easy to navigate and should give Nene the platform to promote the various services they already offer, and others in the pipeline.
