According to Bloomberg Business, Land Rover's sales in the USA have increased by 37% on the previous year, a bigger increase than any other car manufacturer in the country, beating domestic carmakers such as Jeep and Ford.
Land Rover is experiencing significant growth in the US market selling 70,582 vehicles last year with one in four of those sales being the Range Rover, with a starting price of $85,000 (£58,300).
The Range Rover Evoque was responsible for around 20% of the sales with the Discovery Sport making up around 10%.
Joe Eberhardt, Chief Executive Officer of Jaguar Land Rover North America said: ‘I think cool Britannia, to some degree, is coming back.’
The rising car sales in the US could be attributed to lower fuel prices and a more stable economy. The American car industry is reaping the rewards, and so is Land Rover!
