It’s three years since Prince George, heir to the throne, was born and whisked off to his new life of royalty.
His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, to give him his full title, first rode in a Vogue SE. Not a bad introduction to the luxury car market, though we doubt he remembers.
That car is now open to bids on CharityStars.com which organises auctions to raise money for charities through high-profile lots. The Range Rover is expected to raise £150,000 - nearly double the reserve price.
The SDV8 4.4 diesel has done 31,000 miles and comes with a slew of additional features such as a sliding panoramic roof and five surround cameras (full spec online).
The two charities benefitting from the auction are Sun Screen IT, which donates efficient IT equipment for schools, hospitals and orphanages in developing nations, and Stand Down, a military mental health charity that provides online counselling and support to the Armed Services community.
CharityStars.com MD Robert Robinson, says: ‘We are delighted to be hosting this auction and hope to take it to the next level in digital fundraising by raising a phenomenal amount of money for two incredible charities.’
The current bid stands at £49,970 and ends on Thursday September 15. You can bid on the Royal Range Rover here.
