The soft alloy bodywork of a Defender means that any brushes with firmer objects ripple the bodywork easily and cause unsightly scars. The sills are particularly vulnerable from damage when off-roading; replacing them with rock sliders has the double benefit of preventing the sills from getting damaged as well as helping tou get your Defender across rocks. And they'll withstand car park knocks better. These fully welded, easy-to-fit rock sliders are zinc-coated for longer working life then black powdercoated to give a smart finish. They fit all Defenders (and Ninety/One Ten) from 1983-on.
Neil says: 'Tree sliders also give you a degree of side-impact protection.'
