What’s the story?
Now that Ben’s spending a bigger proportion of his time in the UK, rather than the far-flung corners of the globe, he’s realised that his growing family really needs a second car. It’s time he got himself another Land Rover after an enforced gap of several years. After scanning the market place, he decided he wanted a bespoke prepared Defender soft top from Nene Overland.
Our favourite bit?
Ben’s Defender is a Heritage Icon soft top based on a 2013 90. Our favourite bit has to be colour scheme created by the Melvill and Moon canvas interior, matching canvas tilt and the Keswick Green bodywork.
And the verdict from LRO writer Mark Saville?
If I were able to buy a Defender 90, I’d really like it to be Keswick Green. It’s one of my favourite colours; it has the authentic Land Rover feel. I even think it would look good on Plimsoll, my 1957 Series I
